Oops! I took an action by accident and need to reverse it. What do I do?
How to reverse unintentional actions
Don’t worry, it happens! Here are a few actions that you may have taken by mistake and how to resolve them:
-
Published an opportunity: Easy fix - simply scroll to the bottom of the Opportunity Settings page and click the “Unpublish” button. You can always re-publish it in the future whenever you’re ready
-
Rejected a Sponsor’s booking or hold request: If it was a hold request, you can go ahead and place the opportunity on hold on behalf of the sponsor by clicking “Place Hold” on the Opportunity Settings page. If it was a booking request, you can reach out to the Sponsor to ask them to request again (pro tip: expedite the process by sharing that opportunity with them directly through the platform!)
-
Placed an opportunity on hold for a Sponsor: If you did not want to hold the opportunity for a Sponsor, you can easily cancel the hold within your “On Hold” opportunities. Note that the Sponsor will have received an email notification that an item has been placed on hold for them (and also a cancellation email), so you may want to reach out to give them a heads up
-
Approved a Sponsor’s booking request: We are soon rolling out functionality to cancel approved orders and bookings. For now, if you accidentally approve a Sponsor’s booking request, you can reach out to our support team at support@claritymediapartners.com or by submitting a form through our platform, and we’ll help you out!
If you find yourself accidentally taking actions within the platform commonly, please let us know! We are always looking for ways to make the platform more intuitive and balance ease of use with appropriate guardrails, so we’d love your feedback!
